At least 9 people were killed in a gun attack on a school in Turkey. 13 more people were injured. The condition of six of them is critical. Eight students and a teacher were among the dead. The country’s interior minister, Mustafa Chifchi, said the attack took place at a secondary school in southern Turkey’s Kahramanmaras province.

Authorities said a 14-year-old attacker was also killed in the incident.
Mukerem Unluer, governor of Kahramanmaras, said, ‘A student in eighth grade brought five weapons and seven magazines in his bag. We think these are from his former police officer father. He entered two classrooms and fired indiscriminately.’
The incident happened a day after 16 people were injured in the shooting incident of a former student in another high school in the southern part of the country. Then the student committed suicide.
