US President Donald Trump has claimed that Iran’s new supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, is either dead or in a very bad condition. He also commented that there is no leader in Iran at the moment.

President Trump was present as the chief guest at a forum called Future Investment Initiative Priority in Miami, a coastal city in the state of Florida, USA on Thursday. In his speech there, he said, “US military action has destroyed Iran’s leadership and defense capabilities. All their leaders are dead. Their supreme leader (Ayatullah Khamenei) is no longer at the highest level, he is dead; And his son is either dead, or in a very bad condition.”

Trump also said, “there is no such thing as Iran’s navy, the whole navy has sunk in the subgar. Their air force is completely dead. Their fighter aircraft destruction and military communications capability were also destroyed.”

“now we are destroying their weapons stockpile. Their missile and drone factories are being demolished. These are being destroyed in a way that no one could ever have imagined. They will have nothing more to say defense industry.”

Notably, Moztaba Khamenei’s father and former supreme leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was killed on the first day of the Iran-US-Israel war on February 28. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s wife, daughter, grandson, and Mojtaba Khamenei’s wife were also killed in that attack, and Mojtaba himself was wounded.

Iran elected Mojtaba as the new supreme leader while he was injured. According to various US media reports, Mojtaba Khamenei was seriously injured in the attack. However, according to several Iranian sources, Mojtaba suffered a leg injury and the injury was not fatal.

On the twelfth day of the war, on March 12, at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Mojtaba Khamenei flew to Moscow on a Russian military plane. He is currently undergoing treatment in a hospital in Moscow.
