Ramadan will be 2 times in a year

The Muslim world is about to witness a rare event. In 2030, devout Muslims will have the opportunity to fast twice in the same year.

According to astronomers and Islamic scholars, this exceptional event will occur due to the time difference between the Islamic lunar calendar and the Gregorian calendar.

The Islamic calendar is based on the lunar cycle, with a year of 354 days. On the other hand, the Gregorian or solar calendar has a year of 365 days. Because of the difference of about 11 days between these two calendars, the month of Ramadan falls twice in a Gregorian year, approximately every 30 years.

It is reported that as a result of this change, Ramadan will begin on January 5, 2030.

The second Ramadan will begin on December 26 of the same year. English will be able to fast for a total of 36 days this year. The last time this happened was in 1997. After 2030, it will happen again in 2063.
