Two blind hafiz from Bangladesh pass Daura-e-Hadith and perform Umrah

This time, two blind Hafizs from the blind department of ‘ Madrasatur Rahman Al Arabiya  in Dakshinkhan, Dhaka, performed Umrah after passing the Daurae Hadith exam. They have not seen the dust of the world , but when their fingertips touch every point of the Braille Quran , they directly feel the light of the Lord of the Throne. Thousands of pages , the immortal words of millions of Hadiths  they have memorized them with just their fingertips. A unique history has been written in this procession of success. Two indomitable talented students from this madrasa, Hafiz Zubair and Hafiz Abdur Rahman, have surprised the world by participating in the  Daurae Hadith  or Masters exam, the highest level of national education. They have proven that reading a book requires more heart’s desire than the light of the eyes.

And as a reward for that indomitable effort, they have received the best reward in life. They have returned after performing the holy Umrah. Those who have never seen a map of the world , have felt the cool cover of the Kaaba with their hearts. When their hands fell on the wall of the Kaaba , their hearts may have cried out in pain and said  O God , I have no regrets that I did not give you eyes , today this satisfaction of touching your house is more precious than millions of eyes ! They have returned after completing the Umrah with a peace of mind and a unique victory. Madrasatur Rahman Al-Arabiya taught us  if given the opportunity, these neglected people can be the greatest wealth of the nation. There is no light of truth in their eyes , but today the road to paradise is clear in the mirror of their hearts.

Dhaka University Assistant Professor Dr. Mustafa Manjur said , “I never imagined that there would be such a madrasa in Bangladesh. I have heard that there are institutions for the blind, but this is the first institution I have seen for the deaf. The Quran has been reprinted for them. In addition to using the Braille system for the visually impaired, there is a system of education for deaf students through sign language , which is a remarkable initiative in the field of religious education in Bangladesh.”

Meanwhile, Muhtamim Bakhtiar Hussain Sardar of Madrasa Satur Rahman Al Arabiya said , “ Although blind and deaf students are currently staying in the same building , there is a clear need to establish separate residential and academic buildings for them, considering their different emotions and feelings. This will improve and develop their minds and mentality.”
